Process to be an intermediary with Guardrisk
Good news!
If you already have an existing intermediary contract with Guardrisk to sell the ADMED product range you don’t have to sign a new contract but we do prefer that you follow the process to complete an intermediary application to ensure that we have your updated details.
Step 1
Please click here complete Intermediary application form or download and send back to info@medgaponline.co.za The following information should be included with the application:
1. FSP license with annexures
2. PI Cover
3. Cancelled cheque/original certified bank confirmation
Step 2
The contract between Guardrisk (underwriter of MedGap) and brokerage will be drafted by Guardrisk and sent to Brokerage for signatures. On receipt of the signed intermediary contract the Brokerage profile can be registered on the Medgap system. The specific Adviser will be linked upon receipt of the first Medgap application.
Step 3
All advisers have to complete the accreditation test on receipt of the signed contract. All the information needed to complete the test is available in the brochures and policy wording. Please email info@medgaponline.co.za if you want to do the accreditation test

You have 4 months from the date of treatment to provide us with written notice of your claim. If any details are missing, or we need more information or documents, we will contact you. If we do this, please send us the outstanding documents within 28 days of our request or we will close your claim until you provide us with the documents we need. If you do not send us these documents within 12 months of your claim event, your claim will prescribe and we will close it permanently.
